Rumsfeld’s out, apparently in response to the Democratic majority in Congress (say, wasn’t it just this week that George II was going to “stay the course” with his Defense Secretary?), and Robert Gates is in. What is it with Bush and all these former Iran-Contra crooks? Can’t he bring in anyone to his administration but the worst of the Reaganites? First, Negroponte, now Gates. Who’s next? Ollie?
