Cinema
Well, movies, anyway. . . . M. and I went to Death at a Funeral on Saturday. It’s a pretty typical British farce, with a simple, limited set of jokes stretched nearly to their limit, a few big but obvious gags, all performed by a serviceable cast, some of whom are vaguely familiar, but probably only better known to a U.K. audience (which is not a criticism, since it helps, as far as I’m concerned, when movies are not overly beset by Stars). Fun, but, really, we should have gone to see Ratatouille. (Or Day Watch, but I haven’t seen Night Watch yet.)
