Still Disagree?
Although after the Iraq War, I could barely stand to read anything he wrote, due to the unvarying effort he put into including his support for the war into even the most remotely connected, and even in no way connected, book review or other commentary piece, I remember that I used to like Christopher Hitchens, and could even still appreciate what he wrote. Now I guess he gets to find out about God.

Ah, yes. Hitchens was an interesting man. Nasty way to go esophageal cancer, a frequent result of alcoholism. He certainly had courage but I wonder if his lack of faith or hope made him alcoholic.
Eloquent snark for the most part. I have to wonder how erudite he actually was, since even I got all the references. And I was right about Iraq.
