Gimmie That Old Time Religion
When Britain recognized Jedi as a religion, everybody sneered. It was just a stunt, after all, based on an internet campaign to have the category written in by people around the country during the last cenus there. O.k., it worked, but how many people would continue to say they're Jedis? I'm betting not many. On the other hand, Haiti has now recognized Voodoo as a religion, the practioners of which can perform weddings and such other rites officially upon registering with the government. I'm guessing quite a large number sign up. So do they use the French form, voudoun? Or the English? I shall refrain from the zombie jokes.
