Advance, Australia, Fair
Yes, happy Australia Day. I don't know that commas belong in the lyric of the anthem like that, but it seems correct. The final line is, after all, an admonisment to the nation to give all and sundry a "fair go," a noble sentiment worth pointing out on the country's national day, especially in light of the last year's refugee crisis and various other multi-cultural hiccups. I probably ought to look up the rest of the words. Meanwhile, tall ship races down on the Harbour, military fly-overs, hot air balloons, fireworks (of course), time on the beach and by the barbeque . . . so much to do, so little time to do it in.
