Why is Robert Novak Free?
Now that the Supreme Court has decided to continue its partisanship by declining to review the civil contempt cases against Judith Miller and Matthew Cooper, free speech is effectively under assault in the U.S. This case should never have gotten this far, but if Miller and Cooper go to jail, how is it that the man who publicly revealed Valerie Plame’s cover is not only not being compelled to reveal his sources, and not going to jail, but isn’t even under investigation?
