Looting and Profiteering
Both are war crimes. I mention them, however, in the context of New Orleans, where President Bush is blocking the Red Cross from the city while allowing Blackwater, the federal contractors acting as mercenaries in Iraq, to go in, assisting in disarming and relocating the citizenry. He's also suspended the law requiring federal contractors from paying their employees the prevailing wage for the type of work performed in the area where they're operating. So any locals hired for the clean-up won't get a decent wage and volunteers aren't welcome. Good thing ol' horse-show Brown's back in D.C.
