The Next Catalytic Converter
Joe Williams has a device that improves the burn rate in your car from 35% to 97%. It’s a hydrogen-generator that feeds into the engine and allows more fuel to be converted into energy, reducing emissions and corrosion, improving mileage by 10% to 40%. Is it the best of both worlds, good for the oil companies and for the environment? If nothing else, it could be the first positive step toward getting off the crude. (Via Metafilter.)
