Countries with foreign aid budgets spend their money by funding projects and economic reforms in the Third World, not by handing out cash on Calcutta or Nairobi street corners to individual passers-by, and not just in food or humanitarian aid. Her “Struggletown vs. Wealthtown” comparison is fatuous and insulting to everyone, not just simplistic and inaccurate. If she’s serious, she can start with her own damn job.
