Can’t Steer
Can’t do it in Iraq, can’t do it on a bike. I’m glad the cop’s all right, but the story does remind me that bicyclists often write into the paper over the riding-on-the-sidewalk debate saying, “I always wear a helmet.” This doesn’t help the people they run over, of course. Bush, who apparently didn’t learn to ride a bike when he was a kid, was also wearing a helmet, although I might have wished for something to knock some sense into him. Ride safe, kids.
