Democrats Abroad Australia has a new website, courtesy of our former vice-chairman, Scott Forbes, who has moved back to the U.S. It’s pretty much “proof of concept” at the moment, but will provide a resource for the state chapters to organize their meetings, as well as for the national group to get the word out on events and issues important to the membership and anyone else interested in American Democratic politics. There may be a bug or two to work out, but this site will eventually fully replace the use of Meetup.org, the Yahoo.com group, and other, disparate internet efforts, giving us a robust organizing tool.
