Avoiding the Next Iran-Contra Scandal
One of the principals from the last scandal now has the authority to exempt any company he likes from SEC disclosure regulations. This is Presidential-level authority, delegated for the first time, and to the author of arms-for-hostages and other Cold War era misdeeds. Who goes first? Haliburton?
