Broadway’s Magical Thinking
I just finished Joan Didion’s memoir, The Year of Magical Thinking (which was terrific, by the way, really, really good), but it never really struck me that it would make a good Broadway Play, even with Vanessa Redgrave. I suppose I’m wrong about this, given the calibre of the writers involved and the actress to deliver it, so I won’t offer any prognostication. The book, however, I’ll go ahead and recommend now.
