Objet d'net
Jason Kottke's been going on about Twitter for a few days now, and, what can I say? I signed up, as evidenced by the "badge" over to the right. It's "public" instant messaging, as he describes it, a kind of social networking site, and it's got a pretty nice feel to it, although at the moment, it doesn't seem like much is happening, like going to a party where nobody knows anybody else so they're all furiously signalling their bona fides as someone worth taking to. I suppose that's unfair. But I'm interested, and I'll see what comes of it.
