Design
Creationism, the belief now being touted as “intelligent design” doesn’t belong in science class, where evolution is taught. And despite the Command-and-Creep’s suggestion that it should be taught “so people can understand what the debate is about,” even Kansas shouldn’t be fooled into putting it on the curriculum, unless they’re going to start teaching religion, in which case they can have an entire semester devoted to the various creation myths from around the world. If it’s understanding the debate that’s at issue, teach a philosophy course, or put it on the debating society’s topics list. Pro: the emperor of Japan is descended from the Sun. Con: It was the Flying Spaghetti Monster.
