Read It and Weep
The Texas GOP’s platform is an incredible collection of politics as usual and pandering to the fanaticism of the neoconservatives who have come to dominate the development of policies. “Activist judges” behaving “wantonly” and opposition to any sex-ed curriculum that includes any mention of condoms, the elimination of accountability to government agencies with oversight of the environment, and dropping out of the UN now. Meanwhile, if you’re keeping up at home, via Democrats Abroad – Australia has provided its members with this handy chart of Red vs. Blue. Let’s bolster those weak states and target those that might flip the other way (you listening in Vegas?).
