T.V. Controversy
Big Brother is an appeal to the prurient interests of television viewers, but without any actual pornography. As for one contestant’s using the show to stage a political protest, well, it was clever (although to hear him speak about it was painful – not a very bright boy). He shouldn’t have apologized, however (especially to children who might have been frightened – what? Did I miss something?), and the producers should have given his prizes to charity. Never watch Ten again, never watch Ten again. (O.k., Neighbours; must find out what happens to Susan next.)
